The Leatherhead & District Business Awards 2012 winners and runners-up were announced at an awards ceremony and dinner held on Wednesday 23 May at St John’s School, Leatherhead.

The Awards celebrate the diversity and achievements of businesses in the Leatherhead & District area and put the spotlight on the companies and business leaders that make Leatherhead such a fine place to live, work and visit.

TODD Creative Services was presented with the Award for Technology & Innovation  sponsored by Exxon Mobil for their flagship product BOXJOX Performance - a patent pending design that brings together two separate garments of clothing; a compression base layer and a state-of-the-art 21st century update on the athletic support for men.

Runner-up in the category was Cisilion and the other finalist was Multizone.

More than sixty people gathered to see the award winners receive their trophies and certificates. Guests included Chairman of the Council, Councillor Caroline Salmon (Mole Valley District Council); Community Affairs Adviser of ExxonMobil, Sophie Foale; Executive Director of the Leatherhead & District Chamber of Commerce, John Hickey; and business personalities and journalists from the Leatherhead & District area.
Guests enjoyed dinner in the grand Dining Hall at St John’s School, Leatherhead and were treated to wine, provided for the occasion by Ashtead-based cookery school, Four Gables Food Academy.
